A pair of industry veterans have joined forces with Team ITG, a marketing firm based in Birmingham, to lead the growth of a specialized life sciences branch.

Gerhard Arnhofer has twenty years of experience in the biopharmaceutical business, including positions at Merck & Co., Bayer AG, and most recently BioNTech SE, where he was senior vice president of customer strategy.

Arnhofer joins Jase George, managing partner for Team ITG’s life science section. George has 30 years of expertise with corporations such as Pfizer, Merck & Co, Novartis AG, and Bayer AG.

George assumed responsibility for Team ITG’s life science portfolio in 2021 and will lead the division’s development plan by deploying its proprietary Storyteq marketing collaboration and creative automation technology in addition to its spectrum of professional services.

Automation is the key to unleashing enormous potential in the life science business, according to Arnhofer. To explain complicated therapy paths, mechanisms of action, and patient problems, commercial and medical organizations will need to hyper-personalize their engagements with customers.
